The Bay School Community Arts Center offers over 100 art classes each year. Founded in 1997, the Bay School is a 501c3 non-profit organization with free community arts programming. The Art Speaks Gallery features local and regional art in many media. The Green Bay School District revealed its first-ever alumni Hall of Fame class, including a former mayor, a major general a Packers legend and more. Rob Gilson led Imperial Supplies as CEO for decades and has served as a board director for the Green Bay Packers since 2018. He and his wife, Lori, have also supported youth programs and education initiatives like the Golden Apple awards, according to the district. Maj. Gen. Anthony Mastalir has served in commanding positions in the Air Force and Space Force throughout his career. He’s the current director of Global Space Operations for U.S. Space Command. · Dr. Terrence Clark graduated from the UW School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 and holds a doctorate in biomedical science from Auburn University.Alumni from Southwest High and West High are shown as Green Bay announces its first-ever alumni hall of fame class. Approval granted for SEND expansion at Bay CE Secondary School

Plans for enhanced SEND provision at The Bay CE Secondary School have been approved Site plans for an expansion of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) provision at an Isle of Wight secondary school have been approved. Planners have granted the council consent to build a ‘double mobile classroom’ building at The Bay CE Secondary School in Sandown.Increased capacity The proposal will allow the school to increase its resourced places for children with autism from 15 to 20, according to a Design and Access statement.Extra SEND provision will help the council deal with ‘school place pressures’ from increased numbers of Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Only 2 Bay Area high schools break through top 10 in new ranking

A new ranking from U.S. News & World Report reveals the best high schools in California. Only two Bay Area schools made the top 10. With 484 students, University High is a liberal arts high school with distinctive academic programs and extracurriculars such as zoology, Latin, musicianship, chess club and sailing club. The school placed No. 63 in the national rankings. The first Bay Area school to pierce the top 10 was Dr.Pacific Collegiate Charter in Santa Cruz fell one spot from last year, to ninth place. The 340-student school has a graduation rate of 94%. The second and final Bay Area school to land in the top 10 was Lynbrook High School in San Jose.In a new rankings report, only two Bay Area schools were among the 10 best California public high schools, similar to last year’s results.A new ranking from U.S. News & World Report reveals the best public high schools.
